Sarah Javier

Health Psychology Doctoral Student

I am a fifth year doctoral student in the health psychology program. I received a B.S. in psychology from Tulane University in 2010. I am primarily interested in developing culturally tailored programs on mental health utilization among ethnic minority populations, with a specific focus on women.  Currently, I am the PI for an R36 dissertation grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. The title of this project is "Sustainable Adapted Treatments for Eating Disorders: The Role of Cultural Adaptation in Prevention."
