Social Psychology Doctoral Student
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Howard University, a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Vanderbilt University, and a master’s degree in psychology from VCU. In 2014, I evaluated the impact of culture on HIV prevention service delivery in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil and learned Brazilian Portuguese as a Boren Fellow. My academic interests broadly include examining health disparities in domestic and international settings through cultural and intersectional lenses. Additionally, I have interest in evidence-based prevention and colorism.
