I am a chronic disease epidemiologist and dental public health researcher who focuses on epidemiologic and psychosocial research of oral diseases and systemic health across the lifecourse. Specifically, I am interested in:
- the application of novel epidemiology methods (i.e. causal inference methods) to oral epidemiology to facilitate causal interpretation of my research findings
- develop better and more efficient methods to screen and diagnose oral diseases for research purposes
- identify modifiable risk factors for poor oral health outcome across the life course
- translate my research findings into actionable population level interventions
