I am a chronic disease epidemiologist and dental public health researcher who focuses on epidemiologic and psychosocial research of oral diseases and systemic health across the lifecourse. Specifically, I am interested in:

1. the application of novel epidemiology methods (i.e. causal inference methods) to oral epidemiology to facilitate causal interpretation of my research findings
2. develop better and more efficient methods to screen and diagnose oral diseases for research purposes
3. identify modifiable risk factors for poor oral health outcome across the life course
4. translate my research findings into actionable population level interventions
